    This threshing crew is in the field of Johnson, Theodore who is standing infront of the engine. The belt driven threshing machine separates the grain from the stubble and chaff.     The men pause with their forks as the photographer has caught them in the field. Blankets drape the horses, and several men wear neckerchiefs to protect themselves from the dust and dirt of this job. Three types of wagons are used in this operation.
