Berne Bears baseball team - This photo shows the 1947 baseball team of the Berne High School, posing on some wooden bleachers outside. The picture was taken for the 1947 "Our Yesterdays" Berne High School yearbook. However, this particular shot was not in the yearbook, one with their hats on is seen in the yearbook. This shot shows them all holding their hats on their knees. The uniforms look the same as in 2022.02.101 & 102. And, again the players have been named only for the postion they played and if they didn't play in the first string, they were identified at all. Ned Shuck, the coach, is seated on the left end of the back row. |
