1919 Berne Elementary Fourth Graders are in this class photo. The backdrop is the same as in many of the photos in the Heritage Room that were taken by the Shalley Studio. The boys in the photo are wearing shirts and ties and all but two or three also have on jackets. The girls appear to all have bows in their hair most of which are very large ones. The Teacher standing on the back right is wearing a sailor type dress. This photo was later identified in the Berne Witness in the 16 Jul 1976 paper.
