Clyde and Anna in '44 or '45 |
Description |
Clyde and Anna in '44 or '45 - This photo was taken when Clyde was serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. According to the notation on the back of the photo in black ink which says, "Fort Pierce, FL", Clyde must have been stationed at Fort Pierce. This was a very active naval installation during World War II. Clyde is wearing his dress uniform with the sailor collar and scarf tie around his neck. You can see the Navy emblem on his left sleeve and he is wearing the traditional Navy hat. Anna is wearing a light suit with 3/4 length sleeves and an A-line skirt. She is wearing a wrist watch and they are posing in front of a palm tree. There appears to be a building on the left side of the photo, you can just see the post holding up the roof on what appears to be a porch. |
