The Reppert family is gathered in front of the Rudolph Schug home on West Main Street in Berne. Some of this family became influential business men in the area. The front of the Schug house and yard is seen along with the artificial stone wall. Parked beside the house are the automobiles. In later years this house was used as the Berne Nursing Home. The stone along the sidewalk has also been removed. Identification sheet attached as second image. A photo found stored behind the large photo, includes Louisa and her brothers. It is the smaller photo of 4 men and a lady in the lower left corner of the anniversary photo. They are left to right August, Fred, Louisa, William and Herman Sellmeyer. The photo was taken at the Vera Cruz Church parsonage in Vera Cruz, Wells Co., Indiana. On the back of the photo is the following inscription: "Fred and Louisa Repperts Golden Wedding Anniversary at the Rudloph & Minnie Shrug in Berne, In W. Main St. 1866." According to Mary (Gilliom) Zurcher Flueckiger (Mrs. Roger Lee) on 29 Feb 2016, Minnie was known as Mina and was married to Rudolph Schug. Her maiden name was Reppert.
