Description |
The John J. Hirschy home place was located on County Road 500 S west of Highway 27. The house is a brick two story. There are shudders on the windows. There is a sun porch over an entry to the right of the main house that has rod iron railing around it. There is gingerbread work around the top of the porches on the two entry ways showing in the picture. A rail fence is surrounding the yard area of the house. At the right edge of the house is a housing for the water pump. The home and land were later owned by Edwin Nussbaum who sold the Bank barn to the Swiss Heritage Village. |
