Wabash Twp. #2 School was also known as the Canopa School. It is located on the northeast corner of County Road 000 and County Road 700. It is now a personal residence (2008). The boys appear to be wearing jackets or coats. The girls are wearing calico or plaid dresses. Many of the dresses have ruffles. It appears most of the girls have their hair back. There are children looking out of the windows of the school too. It appears there is chicken wire over the windows. The teacher on the right side of the back row is Valentine Shimp.
