    Another photo taken the same day as 2025.002.019. This one is labeled on the back Clarence, Melvin and Rufus Hirschy. Clarence (1897 - 1981) son of Christian & Louise (Felber), he married Grace Snowffer. His brother Melvin (1895 - 1957) married Rose Fuhrer. Their cousin Rufus (1884 - 1967) son of David & Susanna (Moser) Hirschy. He married Anna Sprunger.

  4. Melvin Hirschy - 1913

    Melvin Hirschy - This is another graduate of Berne High School, Class of 1913. Melvin is wearing a dark suit with a white shirt and celluloid collar. The shirt appears to have French cuffs but I can't see what the cuff links look like. His tie is also white and is held in place with a circular stick pin. His hair is short and parted on the side and combed smoothly down.

    Wabash Twp. #2 School was also known as the Canopa School. It is located on the northeast corner of County Road 000 and County Road 700. It is now a personal residence (2008). The boys appear to be wearing jackets or coats. The girls are wearing calico or plaid dresses. Many of the dresses have ruffles. It appears most of the girls have their hair back.
